In accordance with CDC guidance, we are notifying you of the following measures implemented in the event you should be exposed to any of these SARS-CoV-2 positive patients or if your medical staff contract the disease. Since the virus can be transmitted even before symptoms develop, we are asking you to practice the following measures: Do not enter patient care areas if you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath, unless you are already scheduled to see a patient or provider and you can work in a private area of the facility where you do not have access to the patient or provider. Any medical or dental professionals with symptoms of COVID-19 should not enter patient care areas, unless they are already scheduled to see a patient or provider and can work in a private area of the facility where they do not have access to the patient or provider. If you become aware of a patient or provider who has tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, immediately report to a manager and stay out of the patient’s care area until a medical professional arrives to determine the patient’s status. Facility and staff members who have had confirmed or suspected exposure to SARS-CoV-2 should be isolated at home for 14 days from the last possible exposure. Facility and staff members who have had confirmed or suspected COVID-19 should be isolated at home from the day of the diagnosis to 14 days from the last possible exposure. If you become ill while at work, you may be ordered to stay home and should notify your manager. If you become ill, your manager should know that you are self-monitoring your temperature at home. If you are unable to self-monitor your temperature, please call the facility and we will arrange for you to see a provider in the health clinic. If you do not have an appointment, please call the clinic or see your provider in the emergency room. You
